On the road for Asia & Pacific
Roadshows, the major tourism trade fairs in Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin, culinary sessions and fine dining events, workshops and “live seminars” in Asia: successfully marketing major destinations such as Asia and the Pacific always means constantly refining and expanding marketing instruments. And we live in exciting times. We see how digital customer loyalty formats sometimes complement analogue ones, rarely replace them, but ideally they pay off for each other.
The great moments, however, are those in which everyone comes together, learns, has fun and in doing so makes experiences for life. Like in 2018, when we organised the first live seminar for PATA Germany, on Bali and on board Star Clipper: 80 travel agents spent an epic two weeks on the island and in the Sumba Sea, meeting tour operators, hoteliers and DMCs, learning in a two-day seminar block, being blessed by Brahmins and looking the Komodo dragon in the eye.
