The research trip we organised on behalf of the Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GiZ) and the South African marketing organisation &#8220;Boundless Southern Africa&#8221; for German-speaking and South African travel journalists and photographers was the most extensive ever undertaken in the region to raise international awareness of this unique protected area as a cross-border tourist destination.<\/p>\n<p>Two groups of five media colleagues each spent ten days crossing five countries in search of these very special stories, which only KAZA writes.
